favorite jumpsuit

In fact, I'm not a fan for harem pants but this jumpsuit is a true exception. It is Studio Zara and I only could find it in Nisantası store. Even though I have only worn it not more than 5 times in 2 years this is something I would like to keep in my closet all the time..

It is tuesday and it is Tango time again. It's been two months and I do not feel I achieved even the beginner level yet:( I love dancing and before starting taking these courses I thought it will be quite simple and I will be a tango queen very soon, but it did not happen that way. Latin dances are all man dominated therefore women have no action by themselves but just follow the directions of men which  is absolutely opposite of me.. As I am ambitios I know I will handle it anyway..

To be honest it is not to bad to let someone you really trust take over all the control..

Gerçekte harem pantolonlara çok da bayılmam. Hatta en çok moda olduğu dönemde bile almamak için direndiğimi hatırlıyorum. Ama bu Studio Zara tulumum gerçek bir istisna benim için. 2 sene önce Nişantaşı Zara'dan aldığım ve belki de 5 seferden fazla giymediğim bu tulum gardrobumda her zaman görmek istediğim özel parçalardan biri..

Salı demek Tango demek. Zeynep ile beraber hemen öncesinde bir fotograf cekimi yapabildiğimiz için salıları çok seviyorum.

Tangoya başlayalı 2 ay oldu fakat başlangıç seviyesine ulaştığımdan bile şüpheliyim..Dans etmeyi çok sevdiğim için Tango'yu kısa sürede öğreneceğimi düşünüyordu  ancak ne yazık ki öyle olmadı. Bu iş hiç de göründüğü kadar kolay değil:(

Birincisi Tango kendine has bir duygusu ve duruşu olan bir dans. Onca dönmeler savrulmalar bacak atmalar arasında çoğu zaman dengenizi kaybedebiliyorsunuz. İkincisi, ki bu daha zor benim için; kontrol tamamen erkekte. Kadın hiç bir harekete karar vermiyor, başlatamıyor veya yönlendiremiyor. Bütün yönlendirmeleri erkek yapıyor kadına ise sadece onu dinlemek ve takip etmek kalıyor. Hayatımın neredeyse her anında kontrol delisi olduğum için bu durum beni epey zorluyor..

Ama sonunda anlıyorum ki bazen en güvendiğiniz insana teslim olmak o kadar da kötü bir şey değil..

After a long time, I could finally write my blog. The weather was awful during the past weeks so I did  not feel like going out and taking pictures. I promise I will update more often in the future:) (hopefully)

As I saw this blazer on Chiara Ferragni (http://www.theblondesalad.com/), I fell in love with it.  In a week, Tuna and I were so happy that we both could get it. It is really one of my favorite blazers and so easy to combine.No need to mention that it goes wonderful with my beautiful Swarovski bracelet.

These pictures were taken yesterday before my Tango class. It is great that the weather is getting warmer..

Uzun bir aradan sonra yeniden yazabiliyorum. Geçtiğimiz haftalarda hava öyle kötüydü ki dışarı çıkıp fotograf çekmek neredeyse imkansızdı. Havalar yavaş yavaş ısındığından önümüzdeki günlerde daha sık yazabilmeyi umuyorum..

Bu ceketi Chiara Ferragni'de (http://www.theblondesalad.com/) gördüğüm an aşık olmuştum. Ancak ona sahip olmak için yaklaşık 2 hafta beklemek zorunda kaldım. Gelir gelmez de Tuna ile birlikte hemen birer tane aldık. (aynı gün içinde mağazalarda bittiğini söylememe gerek yok sanırım)

Çok canlı bir pembe olmasına rağmen her renkle kolayca kombinlenebilen bu harika cekete Swarovski bilekliğimle ışıltı katmayı ihmal etmedim..:)

I love New York

Going to New York had been my dream for the last 10 years..I'm sooooo glad that I could make in the end last september. During my 9 days visit, I walked nearly all the streets and avenues of Manhattan, visited some of the most important museums like MoMA and MET's, enjoyed not only the small boutiques in SoHo and Chinatown but also the breathtaking stores on Madison and 5th avn..
World is so small that I came accross with one of my oldest friends form Turkey while we were both walking down the 5th avn. Central Park utterly amazed me. Thefore anytime I needed to relax and gave a break I found myself there..I tasted delicious food, met wonderful meople, enjoyed night life of SoHo, and did not miss to see some celebirities:)
It was one of the best experiences of my life..
I hope to see NY again..

New York'a gitmek son 10 yıldır en büyük hayalimdi ve en sonunda geçtiğimiz eylül ayında bunu gerçeğe dönüştürebildim. New York'da geçirdiğim 9 gün boyunca Manhattan cadde ve bulvarlarının neredeyse tamamını yürüdüm, dünyanın en önemli müzelerinden olan MoMA ve MET'si görmek şahaneydi..Madison ve 5. bulvardaki nefes kesen mağazaların yanısıra Chinatown ve SoHo'daki küçük butikleri de dolaşmayı ihmal etmedim.
Dünya sahiden küçükmüş..Bir aksam 5. caddede yürüken en eski arkadaşlarımdan biriyle karşılaştım ve Manhattan'ı keşfetmeye can atan 2 Türk olarak çoook eğlenceli bir akşam geçirdik..Central Park'ın büyüklüğü ve muhteşemliği karşısında dehşete düştüm ve ne zaman yorulup kendime gelmek istesem kendimi orada buldum..Tabi bu sırada Amerikalı bir kaç ünlü gormeyi de ihmal etmedim..Harika insanlarla tanıştım, muhteşem yemekler yedim ve bir kez daha Carrie'ye hak verdim.. New York gerçekten de olağanüstü bir sehir..

H&M maxi skirt

Here is an outfit post combined with some of the holiday purchases..The maxi skirt I bought last day in Bath, is definitely one of my favorite pieces for summer. I really like shopping in H&M  especially when I'm abroad. You can find different things in different countries. The one on the 5th avn in Manhattan is so big but it is hard to find unique pieces. I heard that the one in Paris( I don't know which) is the best H&M store in Europe. I do not have much idea about the ones in Istanbul..Anyway, I combined my lovely skirt with white and coral wtihout taking no risk. Do you like it?

İşte size İngiltere tatilinden aldıklarımdan bazılarıyla kombinlediğim kıyafetim. Uzun bir alışveriş günü için çok uygun olmasa da bu eteği giymemeye daha fazla dayanamadım. Bath'da geçirdiğim son gün denemeden aldığım bu etek şimdiden favorilerimden biri oldu. Bu seferlik risk almayıp mercan rengi ve beyazla kombinledim ancak ilerleyen günlerde mutlaka deneysel çalışmalar yapmayı planlıyorum.

H&M Türkiye'de olsa da yurtdışındaki mağazalarda çok farklı şeyler bulabiliyorsunuz. O yüzden gittiğiniz ülkedeki H&M mağazasına mutlaka uğramanızı öneririm. Avrupa'daki en güzel mağazasının ( en seçkin ürünleri olan) Paris'de olduğunu söylemişti bir arkadaşım..Aklınızda olsun..

last day in Bath

After a loooong time I could write on my blog again..When I came back form UK, I was so busy that I did not find any time to upload new posts. Also the weather was afwul that we could not go out to take pictures..
Now it is April.:))) Who doesn't love spring?
After all those cold and snowy days you can get rid of  layered outfits and get a space in your closet for full of colorful summer clothes. I already purchased the hottest pieces of spring and I can not wait to show them to you..
Here is the last post of UK. the last day we spent in Bath..Shopping and enjoying the nice warm weather.. It was a great holiday but in the end it was so sad to say goodbye to Barış Yesim, Hektor and of course Tutku..

Uzun bir aradan sonra nihayet bloguma tekrar yazabiliyorum. Ingiltere'den döndükten sonra o kadar yoğun haftalar geçirdim ki bilgisayarımın başına geçip blogumu güncelleyemedim. Havaların da soğuk ve yağmurlu olması fotoğraf çekimini etkiledi tabi. Böyle olunca araya uzuuuun bir zaman girdi..
Nihayet Nisan geldi ve ilkbaharı hissetmeye başladık..Şimdi kışın giydiğiniz kat kat giysilerden kurtulma ve dolabınızda renk renk (özellikle bu sezon her şey renk renk) kıyafetlere yer açma vakti..
Ben şimdiden bu yazın en gözde ve eğlenceli parçalarından almayı ihmal etmedim..Aldıklarımı size göstermek için sabırsızlanıyorum ancak Ankara'da havalar halen bir parça soğuk bu nedenle bugün Bath'da geçirdiğim son güne ait fotografları sizlerle paylaşıyorum..
Bath'da geçirdiğimiz muhteşem tatilden sonra Barış, Yeşim, Hektor ve tabiki Tutku'ya veda etmek çok üzücüydü:((..
